Spandana
Orphanage Home with Special Education for Challenged Kids
The Spandana Organization was established in 1996 to render service to the poor. Through the educational centers created by the Spandana organization, children get the opportunity to study and be successful instead of being pulled into child labor. All the activities coordinated by Spandana has helped them achieve many awards from government organizations.
Soon after, Spandana recognized the need to aid disabled children. The organization decided to set up a rehabilitation center for disabled children where the kids were provided with food, shelter, and therapeutic services. This was all done in a rented area specially for the disabled children. Later in 2010 Spandana became determined to build a home for the children. They realized that would be the best way to cater the needs of the disabled children all day everyday.

The orphanage home has 45 disabled children who are in need of food, shelter, and training. It is becoming difficult to maintain the orphanage and the educational and therapeutic divisions due to insufficient funds. That's why the three arangetram girls want to help them out.

Since the children are challenged when it comes to learning, they need special education with the help of diagrams and other various visual aids. The children are taught daily living skills such as brushing, bathing, combing, and dressing.
